About Pai Meditation Center

Every day, we run a race to make place for ourselves in this hectic and fast-paced world. With our obsession to achieve perfection and happiness we often drown in the façade of this outer world. When we forget to make time to nurture our “inner world” our efforts to create our outer world become in futile too. Take a break from this cycle.

Stop, breathe, loosen yourself and join us for a 3-day meditation retreat at the blissful Pai International Meditation Center. you’ll have an opportunity to look back at your life, develop new habits and gain deeper insight about life. Discover yourself in silence, peace and nature for 7 days.

You will be introduced to an ancient 2500-year-old Buddhist Meditation technique called the ‘Middle way’. Give yourself this gift to nourish your spirit and love yourself.

Accommodation

To foster a clean, pure and organized mind our accommodations are designed with a minimalist approach. However, we have left no stone unturned when it comes to making your stay comfortable and warm. The simplistic environment enhances a tranquil and relaxing experience.

You can also relax and dip into our natural hot spring pool. We have both the hot as well as cool pool.

Healthy Foods

In today’s world of fast food and instant noodles take time to cleanse your body alongside your mind and soul. Enjoy fresh and delicious locally produced goods. You will have a variety of nutrient rich food that is locally produced and toxic free. Some of the produces are even organically grown within the premises of the retreat center itself.

Most of the meals are non-vegetarian and will feature a wide array of dishes containing fish, meat and eggs. If you’re a vegetarian, please make sure to bring some dried vegetarian foods and inform us beforehand. Similarly, if you have specific dietary requirements specific to certain illness or health conditions, please let us know at least 7 days prior to your arrival so we can make necessary arrangements.

During the course of the retreat, we will follow the simple Buddhist monastic lifestyle and will not have dinner. There will be two meals per day. This dietary practice helps meditators get the right amount of energy and compliments the meditation practice.
