We would like to inform you that the pre-registration of the Global light of Peace event to be held on September 5, 2017 at Iloilo Convention Center will officially start tomorrow, August 1, 2017. An information/registration will be set up in the ground floor of the Iloilo Provincial Capitol Bldg. from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays (Mon – Fri). There will be two categories of participation – online or offline. Offline Participation Offline participants will be present in the venue at the Iloilo Convention Center on September 5, 2017 at 6:30 in the evening. Inner Peace Leaders ready to take on the challenge of working for the Global Light of Peace 2017. A gathering of Filipinos who are committed in promoting World Peace through Inner Peace concept in Damires Tierra Verde Hills Resort in Januiay, Iloilo.
From October 13-15, 2015 the Middle Way Meditation Institute organized the 9th International Middle Way Three-Day Meditation retreat at Pop House, Suan Tawan Dhamma. The retreat program was put together for foreigners who love inner peace to have the opportunity to practice the fundamentals of meditation and have a chance to learn Dhamma, that universal for all and put it to use to benefit their daily lives. At the retreat, the participants were trained to meditate and learn the principles of Universal Goodness. They also learned valuable Buddhist cultures such as paying respect to monks, wiping and cleaning dishes thoroughly, and placing shoes in an orderly row. Saturday, August 29, 2015, was a very big day for the people of San Enrique. San Enrique, a municipality in the province of Iloilo. On that auspicious day, the people in San Enrique and nearby municipalities succeeded in organizing the 3rd “Light of Peace” event in the Philippines in partnership with the Middle Way Meditation Institute (MMI). Iloilo, Philippines. Participants learned how to reach inner peace through meditation and practice Five Universal Goodness. All hearts were fused together as one, in calmness and joy, to reveal the peace message “Progress through Inner Peace”. On 28th – 30th July 2015, The Middle Way Meditation Institute organized the International Middle Way Three-Day Meditation retreat, for the 3rd time at POP HOUSE, in Bann Suan Tawan Dhamma. This gave an opportunity to foreigners who love inner peace to come and practice basic meditation and learn Dhamma that is universal for all, so they can use the knowledge to benefit their daily lives.
